Children

Those who hear the gospel as children are much more likely to receive it, and children who are raised with a solid Biblical foundation are much more likely to become happy, healthy, strong Christian men and women who will lead the church forward for the glory of God.  At EPC of Marshall, we strive to equip and encourage parents in raising their children to know Christ, understand what faith is all about, and live for the Lord in their everyday lives. 

Nursery:
Our Sunday nursery is available from 9:20am-12:20pm for children 0-3 years old.  Whether they visit for the Sunday School hour or during the worship service, we have generous amounts of love, hugs, and games for your little ones during their time with us.  The nursery is located to the right as you enter the front doors.

Sunday School:
Sunday School classes for preschool through 5th grade also begin at 9:30am, and offer solid Biblical teaching, discussion, crafts and even a light breakfast.  Our teachers use Show Me Jesus, a curriculum from Great Commission Publications.

Kid’s Worship:

Kid’s Worship is available for children preschool through 4th grade, and begins at 11:00am.  Children will sit with their parents during praise and worship in the sanctuary (because we believe that children benefit from family worship in “big church”) and are then dismissed to their Kid’s Worship class, where they learn the basics of our faith, work on service projects and enjoy crafts with Mrs. Jackie.  Every 1st Sunday we have communion, and we do not offer Kid’s Worship on these days so that our teachers can partake of communion, as well as any children who have made a profession of faith.

Joyful Sounds & More Children’s Choir:
Our children’s choir meets on Wednesday afternoons and is packed full of fun, singing, snacks, crafts and games.  Our activities are all designed in an effort to introduce the gospel and strengthen the faith of these children.  This program is part of our music ministry, and more information can be found here.

We offer various other special events throughout the year, including Easter celebrations, Vacation Bible School, and an annual Harvest Festival in October.  If you’d like to be personally invited to special events please contact Angie at children@epcmarshall.org with your mailing address.
