Many youth ministries serve as glorified babysitting services
complete with flashy toys, big buildings, and “relevant” youth
talks. Here at EPC we understand the need to minister to teens but
we do it the Biblical way: “For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek
wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:22, 23).
When Jesus Christ becomes the focus of a ministry, especially a
youth ministry, great things are bound to happen!
Our mission at EPC is to give teenagers a place to encounter God,
know God, and feel God. We do this in a variety of ways but our main
venues include our worship nights (first two Sunday nights a month),
our small groups (the remaining Sunday nights in a month), our
Wednesday Night Bible study meeting, and a variety of fellowship
opportunities. While teens need to connect to each other, the source
of life is Christ and we want them to connect with Him.
If you feel that this is the place to be for your teen, please come
on out and visit! If you would like more information simply call EPC
at 903-935-7898 and we’ll be able to answer any questions you have
about our student ministry.
