Women's Ministries at EPC includes:
  • Fellowship Lunch
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Prayer Chain
  • Life Chain
  • Hospitality toward Sick/Needy
  • Women's Bible Study

In addition to three biweekly Bible study groups -- two in the morning, one at night -- we also have a spring and a fall program, each with special music and a special speaker.

Through the Women's Ministry much work is done, such as: meals for those in need, flowers for the altar, kitchen work for the Fellowship Lunch, keeping contact with our missionaries, the planning and execution of church fellowships, a telephone prayer chain, as well as many other ministries and activities.

EPC Women's Ministries has a four-fold mission:

To communicate to every woman her status as an image-bearer of God, affirming her dignity, worth and giftedness, and inviting her to cultivate a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

To provide women with opportunities for the discovery and development of their spiritual gifts, and to promote their use within the nurturing environment of the body of Christ.

To resource the local church and presbyteries with information, ideas, encouragement and support for doing the work of God through the ministry of women.

To promote connectional relationships between our churches and our women through corporate opportunities for spiritual growth, service and prayer.

How do women benefit from EPC Women's Ministries?

EPC Women's Ministries provides opportunities for personal Christian growth, ministry development and connectional networking by:

Publishing Woman to Woman, the news journal of EPC Women's Ministries designed to edify, resource and challenge all EPC women.

Offering helpful Women's Ministries programs at the annual General Assembly meeting, providing both leadership development and ministry skill-building workshops.

Reviewing and recommending Bible study materials annually, and making available supplemental resource listings.

Selecting and promoting the annual denominational women's mission outreach project known as Faith Focus.

Planning and presenting the biannual EPC National Women's Conference, featuring distinctive keynote speakers and seminar leaders. Emphasis is place on sound Biblical teaching to impact a woman's world view and behaviors.
